I grew up in: Arizona
I currently live in: Arizona
Occupation: New Business Proposal Preparation/Negotiation

1.) Do you love what you do? Why? Presuming we are speaking occupation then nope I can't say that, I don't at all mean this in a negative way but I can't say I love what I do because it doesn't inspire me, drive me, or move me. But I do however love that across the years and lifes lessons, I've somehow developed the ability to touch others in a positive way. More and more I recognize this and really...that is what I do.

2.) What are you most proud of? At this moment I'm most proud of my sister. She just ran in her first triathelon. 2.2 mile swim in freezing water followed by a 125 mile bike ride, then a maratholon. OMG are you kidding me. She finished in 14 hours and in the 65th percentile for her age group and smiled the whole way through. Very inspiring and emotional.

3.) What life experience has strengthened you the most? The death of the first relationship I had that really taught me what love, exposure and vulnerability were really about. It took me a long time to get over the emotion and heartbreak, but today I'm so at peace with myself, my place in life, I actually like myself and I've discovered a spiritual side that never existed before. For alll this, I'm amazed and thankful really.

4.) Who has been the most influential person in your life? Too many to count really, not just one, but many. Sometimes I'm influeneced much later by something a person did years earlier. I guess it just takes time to catch up to the lesson. For me anyway, many people have been a huge influence in the lifelong learning process.

5.) What would you want to change about yourself?
You know, I really can't complain and if I wanted to then I should just do it.

They make me laugh - they have given me gray hair - they take my breath away. How I could have created such incredible people is beyond me. (The oldest was featured on April 6th).

5.) What do you want to do before you die? walk on coals, go to a Nascar race, go on a sled ride, see a rodeo, camp 8 month out of the year, go skiing again, visit Vermont, run a 5K, learn to line dance, learn sign language, start a business, sky dive, back pack, take a cruise to Alaska, live in the snow, go to hunting camp for 10 days, do the race for the cure, see a musical, have a star named after me, There's more - but this is a good start.

The prospect of any of these things will get me out of bed. How will the world amaze me today?

I learned that filling your heart with bitterness and anger does not feel good and should not be held on to for long. I learned that in the middle of all of that pain and chaos comes a great calm. I learned that I will always be ok, if not better than ok. It is good to walk around this planet knowing that I can survive all of the curve balls that life throws my way.

Jessica "Inspire others to seek help from mental ilness(es)"

Name: Jessica, AKA "Peaches"
Age: 23 years old
Sign: Virgo
Where you grew up: I grew up in Southern CA, the Long Beach area.
Where are you now? I currently live in VA but will be returning to CA as of News Years 2009.
You will never find me at a club. Can't stand them.

1. My dream job was always to become a professional ballet dancer. I was classically trained in ballet from the ages of five to twenty two. Unfortunately, I had to stop dancing for health reasons but I would love to pursue it someday still. For right now, what I want to focus on is my writing, which is a great passion of mine. I want to reach out to the public and share my story and inspire others to seek help from their mental illness(es), which is what I suffer from.

2. I am most proud of the relationships I have with people, whether they be family, friends, etc. I nurture those relationships and have never faltered when I am needed. I have earned the trust and vulnerability of many people and I believe that to be priceless. I am also very proud

3. My greatest loss in life has been the past eight years from which I have suffered from anorexia and bulimia. The illnesses have stolen so much time and cost me so much: relationships with people, my health, stability, money, and my sanity. Through this ongoing struggle though, I do not regret what I have been through for I know that even while I am still not in recovery and very weak, it has also strengthened me beyond measure. And one day, I do hope to recover and share that triumph with others.

4. I'd like to meet Katherine Moennig because, well, she's just the most beautiful creature I've ever seen and her personality is one of a kind.

5. The hardest part of my day is getting out of bed each morning. With the eating disorder and depression, anxiety and paranoia I deal with, having to start my day takes willpower and motivation. The best part of my day is when I talk with my family, since they are 3000 miles away in CA.

I currently live in: Overland Park, Kansas after living on the East Coast for 15 years.
Occupation: Criminal Defense Attorney
You can find me: in Court.

Favorite Website or Charity about which I am passionate? The Shepherd's Center Central (Kansas City, MO) a non-profit organization that serves the needs of the elderly in Kansas City and Johnson County, Kansas. I am a member of their Board of Directors. Their website is:http://www.sccentral.org/

1. Who or what inspires me? I am a criminal defense lawyer and I have found that my clients inspire me to really stand up for someone else in this world. Everyone, even those who have done terrible things, deserves to have someone on their side. Revenge is an easy emotion. But forgiveness and acceptance, those will take years for these folks to assimilate into their lives. I strive to get beyond my own inhibitions and truly be an advocate for another human being.

2. What am I most proud of? Going back to school to become a lawyer as a second career. I graduated from law school 10 years after graduating from undergrad.

3. What has been your greatest loss in life? The loss of my daughter that I raised as my own, and her siblings, the twins, to their biological parent following the ending of our 8 year relationship.

4. Who would you like to meet? Jeanette Winterson, my favorite author.

5. What is the hardest part of your day? What is the best part of your day? The hardest part of my day is getting up early in the a.m. as I am a night owl when left to operate on my own time clock. What is the best part of my day? I used to say that my kids were "the best part of my day" and although I they will always hold that place for me, the best part of my "now" is effecting change the lives of others.
