1 Who or What inspires you? Art and Literature inspire us. We are very big fans of Gertrude Stein and the West Bank in Paris. We try to keep art in our lives and enjoy Beauty in pictures and places…anything that evokes that spark of creativity among the mundane.

2. What are you most proud of? We are the most proud of the distance that we have come given the childhoods that we had. We came all of that way together and work very hard to ensure that our children don’t have the same kind of lives. A lot of school and education. We struggle anyway…working very hard to get out of here. So, I guess that we are proud of our integrity.

3. What has been your greatest loss in life?
There have been so many great losses. However, I guess that loss of society that we have had since moving to a place so rural. The loss of culture and option.

4. Who would you like to meet?
There are quite a few people that we would like to meet. Carrie would like to meet Jane Goodall and spend some time with Johnette Napolitano, and Jessie would like to meet Jimmy Buffet and probably Madonna…she already got to meet Hillary Clinton. We would Both like to meet Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

5. What is the hardest part of your day? What is the best part of your day?
The hardest part of the day is getting up to go again…we are always on the go…school,driving, kid’s activities, and work. The best part of the day is cuddling in bed and going to sleep.
